Rollin “Bill” Hawkins, age 60, died Friday, January 1, 2010 at the Marengo Memorial Hospital. Funeral Services: 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo. Visitation: 4 to 6 P.M. Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at a later date. A memorial fund has been established.
He is survived by a son Blaine Hawkins (Kelsey) of Ladora; a daughter Melinda Hawkins (Sean) of Marengo; a sister Rosemary Noyes of Marengo and two brothers, Russ of Marengo and Roger (April) of Altoona. He was preceded in death by a brother Robert and a nephew Charles Noyes.
Rollin William Hawkins was born March 15, 1949 in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Robert and Lorna Shaull Hawkins. He received his education in the Iowa County schools and graduated from Iowa Valley High School in 1969. Bill was an auto mechanic and also farmed. |
