Kaitlyn M. Norman

Kaitlyn M. Norman, age 22, of West Branch, passed away Monday, September 4, 2023 at Mercy Hospital, in Iowa City.  A memorial service for Kaitlyn will be held at 6:00 p.m., Saturday, September 9. 2023 at Kloster Funeral Home,  Marengo, with Rev. Jacob Zoller officiating.  Family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m., until service time at 6:00 p.m., at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo.  A memorial fund has been established. 

     Left to cherish Kaitlyn’s memory, is her mother, Kelly Jean Norman; her father Sam (Ruth) Norman; two brothers, David (Erin) Norman and Isaiah Gutierrez; a sister Patricia Schmidt; her maternal grandmother Mary (Dave Dixon) a niece Elizabeth Norman; a paternal grandmother, Billie Yeargle; special friends, Dakota Sexton and D.J. Dohrmund; many extended family members and friends; and her sweet companion, Mr. baby puppy dog Diego.  She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Warren Stickel, her great-grandmother, Donna Kulp, and her maternal grandfather, Steve Kahler. 

     Kaitlyn Mary Elizabeth Norman was born October 16, 2000, in Davenport, the daughter of Kelly Jean and Sam Norman.  She attended Muscatine High School.  Kaitlyn enjoyed listening to all kinds of music, hanging out with friends, taking pictures and going fishing.  She loved to cook.  Kaitlyn’s beautiful smile will never be forgotten.  She will live on in all the hearts of those who knew her.
